INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC TRANSLATION SERVICES

The translation business is such that it is by its very nature very web-centric. A large number of new transactions and the majority of existing client transactions are initiated and closed on the worldwide web.
As an example, if your search has landed you on one of our industry sector-specific category pages, it's likely because you found us on the web through a private sector related long tail keywords search (a corporate name or an industrial sector of activity), maybe something like Hewlett-Packard spanish english technology translation, via the Google, Yahoo or MSN search engines.
In all likelihood, your first contact with us will be via e-mail. And, typically, we will respond via e-mail. There may be one or two telephone conversations. You may request a quote and when that's the case we commit to a specific time frame within which a translation service quote will be provided. Once your order is placed with us, interaction with translation resources at our end is done virtually exclusively via e-mail.
A Typical Translation Inquiry Scenario
A prospective client working for large multi-national corporation needs a document translated in a hurry and the in-house translation service team is too busy to meet the dealine being imposed. The client finds us on the web and sends us an e-mail requesting information about the availability of our resources in a particular sector of industrial or private sector activity. From our call centre location we respond. There may be a number of e-mails exchanged until we've nailed down the translation assignment's requirements, have determined that a qualified freelance translation resource is available and our translation services quote has been accepted.
We then place the project with the freelance translator(s) via e-mail. He or she could be located anywhere since our roster of freelance resources (particularly subject-matter experts) are widely dispersed across North America (perhaps even next door to the client or in Inuktituk or wherever.) It really doesn't matter where. So long as the work is performed by a properly qualified translator in the designated industry sector; also, and just as important, someone who honours deadline commitments.
So the work gets done and when complete is sent back to us (via e-mail, of course) for final vetting and quality control. Once we're confident that it's right, we e-mail the finished product back to the client and issue an invoice (oftentimes via e-mail).
The Industry-Specific Character of Translation
The point of this recital is that the only constraint to getting a translation assignment done is access to the internet. (Of course, the properly qualified translator must be identified and his/her availability confirmed.) So, if you have the capability to e-mail us, no matter where you are, we can assist you.
