LANGUAGE HUMOUR
Language humour is everywhere. You see it in newspapers, on billboards, publicity flyers, press releases and books, to name a few. Of course, some of the best language humour is heard on the airwaves, radio and television and oftentimes in private conversation. Children are particularly 'adept' at churning out language humour.
Our aim here is to entertain, while doing our best not to offend. Let's not forget that a joke or what seems to be funny is all in the eye of the beholder (or the ear of the listener as it were.)
We will post items here that we think are humourous. If you think we've missed the mark, please do let us know. Better yet, post your own version of 'language funnies' on these pages. (You're welcome to log in as a contributor and share with our readers.)
Much of the material posted in this category will be gleaned from other sources. All sources will be cited and credit given to authorship whenever possible.
