As a translation agency, we act as a “language brokerage” between clients (individuals and organizations requiring a language service) and service providers (translators, interpreters, editors, revisers, proofreaders, writers, linguists, etc.)
In theory we can source a service provider for any language and type of assignment. In practice, our agency is demand driven. Currently, the strongest demand for translation service in the North American marketplace is to and from the English language, with French and Spanish coming in behind. Demand for Chinese language services is also growing.
The primary language pairs are:
English to French
English to Spanish
French (français) to English
Spanish to English
Spanish (espanol) is divided between the version in use in Latin America (LA), namely, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, etc., and the version in use in Europe (EU), Spain primarily.
French is divided between the version in use in Canada (CA), and the version in use in the EU, namely, France, Belgium, Switzerland, former French colonies (like Algeria), etc.
